There are 100 numbers from 1 to 100, therefore there are 50 even numbers.

You can find 25 "high-low" PAIRS of numbers that sum to 102, e.g. "2 & 100", "4 & 98", "6 & 96", etc... until you exhaust all possible pairs with "48 & 50."

Therefore, the answer is 25 x 102 = 2,550
