Let's create a formula for height (h), given the base and area.  Simply, solve for h!

A = ¹/₂ bh           << multiply both sides by 2 >>

2A = bh              << divide both sides by b >>

h = ^2A/_b

So....

h = ^2(29.82)/_8.4  = ^59.64/_8.4 = 7.1"
